Sargent for Sarasota Campaign Updates is a recurring text-messaging program operated by the campaign. When you affirmatively opt in by checking the text-message box and providing your mobile number, you agree to receive recurring calls and text messages from the campaign, which may include campaign news, event and volunteer information, get-out-the-vote reminders, and requests for donation.

• Consent to receive messages is not a condition of any purchase or donation.
• Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Reply STOP at any time to opt out; you will receive a single confirmation message and then no further messages.
• Reply HELP for assistance.
• Your mobile opt-in information is never sold or shared, except with the vendors that operate the messaging program on our behalf as permitted by law.

If you opt in to campaign email updates, you may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or by submitting a request through our contact form. We do not sell or share your email address.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the interactive features of this Site, including submitting forms and enrolling in the SMS program. If you provide a mobile number and opt in to text messages, you represent that you are the account holder or subscriber for that number, or that you have the account holder's permission to enroll it.

You agree to use the Site only for lawful, civic-engagement purposes and not to:

• interfere with or disrupt the Site or its servers;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site or its data;
• submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information, or enroll a phone number you are not authorized to enroll;
• use the Site to harass, threaten, or impersonate any person; or
• use automated means to scrape, harvest, or collect information from the Site.

All content on this Site — including text, graphics, logos, photographs, and design — is the property of the campaign or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may share and link to our content for non-commercial, personal, or news-reporting purposes with attribution, but you may not copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute it for commercial purposes without our written permission.

Use of military rank, job titles, and photographs in uniform on this Site does not imply endorsement by the Department of the Army or the Department of Defense.

The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. While we strive to keep information accurate and current, we do not warrant that the Site will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components, or that any information is complete or up to date.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the campaign and its staff, volunteers, and vendors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the Site.
